The first program developed by ADROP was the Unity Clinic and it opened in June 2006 with 3 Nurse Practitioners and a Physician Assistant. Veronica Ann Olechna was the first clinic manager hired to run the Unity Clinic, and she remained in the role until 2024.

Ronnie was the heartbeat of our free and charitable clinic and a source of consistency and stability throughout changes in the organization over time. She was dedicated, hardworking, passionate, and kind. Ronnie not only made sure that heath care was available to those most in need, but she was responsible for educating numerous students and community members who would one day follow in her footsteps.

We would not be the clinic we are today without her, and we will always feel her presence in the care we provide. She will remain in our hearts.

Here are some reflections from our team:

"Ronnie helped me out by letting me volunteer as an interpreter when I was looking for ways to both help my local community while getting exposure to the field of medicine. I'll always be grateful for the opportunity that she gave me and I hope that her family knows just how much of a positive impact she made in my life and in many other's lives."

"Ronnie was one of the people who gave me my first opportunity to enter the healthcare field. She allowed me to gain valuable experience, starting as an Indonesian interpreter and eventually trusting me with small clinical tasks as a nursing student.

At Unity Clinic, everyone knew that Ronnie and Lacie were the pillars of the clinic. They served the community with humility, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Ronnie was a kind, passionate, and hardworking clinical manager who led by example and inspired those around her.

I am truly grateful for everything she taught me and the opportunities she gave me. She will be deeply missed."
